Matthew 7: 3-6

3. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
4. How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
5. You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

Herein lies most of the problem for anyone and everyone. It is a catch 22 situation because we like to be among friends. None of us wakes up in the morning and says to ourselves, “I wonder who I can get to hate me today?” No, we want to get along with and be liked by our fellow man. But what do you do when you see something that needs to be fixed? The more you judge yourself the more you will be able to see the needs that need attending to. However, do not be carried away and ask God to make you into a prophet for they are hated by most and despised by many.

All judging should be done with the greatest of bold humility knowing that we too are in every way being judged by God and man. Bold humility is that which knows it is right but does not shove itself on anyone. It acts in love. The law will establish the penalty and its harshness, judging will only determine who falls under it.

6. "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

Here is where I have to part ways with most commentators.

This verse is not saying that you should not judge those who will not listen or do not care. It is not saying to forget about those who will just ridicule you and lash out at you for being the “moral” police. It is the exact opposite.

It is not the “act” of judging that is the pearl but it is the “ability” to judge that is the pearl. Jesus considered the ability to judge as both sacred and valuable, like a pearl.

What we hear today is "do not judge your opponent, your just wasting your time and it will only make them mad. It's like throwing a pearl to a pig. He'll just trample on it not knowing or understanding what it is that you are conveying." This is wrong.

The statement may be true that your opponent will only take what you have to say and squish it but "what you have to say" is not the pearl. It's the fact that "you can say something at all" that is the pearl.

This concept has to be re-thought and seriously considered and moved upon if a conservative movement is going to retake America. And it cannot be retreated from no matter what the opposition says. They understand this totally and laugh behind our backs when they spout of "Do not judge, Do not judge." and see us cower away because of our misguided teaching.

If you decide not to judge on a particular situation then you are in effect giving your vote to someone else. Depending on what is a stake this may or may not be that big of a deal.

If Joe and Bob are running for city council and both are good guys then not casting a vote because it really doesn’t matter who wins may not be to big of a deal. However, it is not very often that your gift of judging, your voice and or vote, which should be considered by you as a pearl, not needed. If you toss your pearl to an opponent, they are most likely not going to return the favor but see you as ignorant. You obviously, in their eyes, do not have enough sense to know what you are throwing away. It is also at this point that your opinion on matters ceases to be important because you seem to them to be a stupid, uninformed populace.

Case in point.

Back in the 60s when prayer was taken out of school what did the general population of the church do? Nothing. They threw their pearls before swine and kept silent. What was the opposition to think? That was easy. Let’s keep progressing our agenda. Therefore, a liberal progressive mindset was advanced. The general populace was in the right but stood still and did nothing. As time passed, more and more liberal progressive laws were passed changing the landscape of morality. What was once wrong to do became commonplace and the tide of opinions changed due to a lack of no judging. Eventually what was once right became wrong and what was once wrong became right and the strong held beliefs of a do nothing group of people devoured them for now they were illegal.

Another case in point.

Have you noticed how dads are portrayed on most of today’s TV shows? They don’t judge and if they do they are made fun of or made to look like dofaces or losers or Christians. The world does not want to be judged, it does not want a light cast into its darkness. It does not like a Jesus.
